STAND UP MICHIGAN NEEDS YOUR HELP TO WELCOME HIM BACK! We are still looking for volunteers to welcome President Trump back to Michigan and help work the event. Our county chapters are helping to coordinate volunteers to place welcome packets on chairs, work the venue posts, and collect signatures for our state's critically important petition initiatives. ***CLICK THE LINK BELOW TO SIGN UP! ***SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER
Also, our Genesee County chapter is coordinating with other county chapters to particularly collect signatures for the petitions we are working on (Unlock 2, Secure MI Vote, & Let MI Kids Learn). Here are a few tips from Meshawn Maddock, MIGOP Co-Chair, and experienced Trump rally attendee: 1. You need to register but you won’t need a ticket. It’s just the first 10,000 in line. 2. When we say get there early we mean like 4 hours early. 3. Sometimes there is food but not always so bring a snack. But not a purse. 4. The latest and greatest MAGA wear will be available for purchase. 5. You might have to stand for 8 hours or more, but it’s SO WORTH IT. 6. Parking is never easy. 7. If lost, look for Diane’s flaming RED hair. 8. I always say wear comfortable shoes but then I wear 4 inch heels anyway. We hope to see you all there for a high-energy evening of fun!
